Penix returns and elevates Drake London

The Atlanta Falcons walked into Lambeau Field as 5.5-point underdogs and walked out with a 35-14 win. The difference was Michael Penix Jr. In his first game since his ACL tear, Penix completed 18 of 25 passes for 256 yards, one TD and one INT. Through the first two weeks, Atlanta averaged eight points per game and never reached the red zone. Thursday night, they piled up 500 total yards and scored on four of five red-zone trips.

Drake London is the biggest fantasy winner. Nine catches for 194 yards. Half of Penix's completions went his way, including a 68-yard strike. With Penix under center, London is a WR1 who needs to be considered every single week.

Bijan Robinson did what Bijan does. 29 carries, 194 yards, two TDs, with runs of 55 and 31 yards. A functional down-the-field passing game only raises his floor. Defenses can no longer load the box and dare Atlanta to throw. In single-game slates, Bijan is the MVP/captain play until something changes.

The takeaway: London moves into weekly WR1 territory for as long as Penix stays healthy. Bijan remains a must-roster, must-start in every format. If you're building Falcons single-game lineups, start with both.
